Cheesy Ground Beef Sliders with Pine River Spicy Beer Cheddar Cheese Spread

INGREDIENTS

  • 8oz Pine River Spicy Beer Cheddar Cheese Spread, set aside 9 spoonfuls

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 teaspoons olive oil or butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper- to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon each

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls

  • 18 round hamburger pickle slices

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds

  • Condiments: ketchup, mustard, thousand island dressing

  • Option: add caramelized onions


DIRECTIONS


  1. Place rack in middle of oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.


  2. Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter in a skillet on medium/high heat, add ground beef, stir and break up beef until fully cooked through.


  3. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper.


  4. Reduce heat, add 6oz Pine River Spicy Beer Cheddar Cheese Spread, stir until

melted and blended in with the cooked ground beef.


  1. Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, place the bottom half cut-side up in a

parchment lined baking dish.


  1. Spoon cheesy ground beef mixture over Hawaiian rolls bottom.


  2. Spoon dollops of reserved cheese spread on beef mixture over each roll.


  3. Top each roll with a cheese dollop, top each cheese dollop with 2 pickle slices.


  4. Replace Hawaiian rolls top as one piece.


  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in microwave - about 20 seconds.


  6. Brush melted butter over roll tops, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.


  7. Cover baking dish with tin foil and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.


  8. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes until cheese is melty and roll tops are

golden and toasty.
