INGREDIENTS
8 oz container of Pine River Chunky Bleu Cheese Spread
1 C walnut pieces
1 ripe but firm pear, sliced
4 slices of hearty artisan bread such as French peasant or multi grain
Butter or spray oil
DIRECTIONS
Mix together Chunky Bleu Cheese Spread and walnuts. Spread on two slices of bread. Layer on pear slices. Top with other slice of bread. Heat Panini press or fry pan. Butter outside of sandwiches or spray pan or Panini press. Cook sandwich until cheese looks melted and bread is toasted on both sides. Remove from heat, let cool a little and slice in two. Enjoy!
